    Here I agree with Billy . Lifting weights affects on your testosterone levels by increasing it and testosterone is responsible to raise your self-esteem and decrease the depression. I recommend working out to everybody with this problem.

      All method that helps is great. For many are great to lift weights, for another complete different things.
      Most important, as I said, is using the method you find are good for you.

    Hey this was very well written. I can actually relate because I had a low self esteem in middle school. I was always nervous and sweated a lot. I was really shy. And sports helped me get through all that. And then in high school I started lifting and felt more confident since I had abs and huge biceps haha.

      All the things which help the self-esteem are good! Sport are one of them and it´s good that you used sport to build it up.
