Do you have that dream you always want to make it come true? Of course, I know you want to see yourself better. I want to assure you that your dreams are valid. But there is one problem that we all face. We have goals in our lives, and we know very well that we can achieve them. But even with our great dreams we lack strategic paths that can lead us to achievement. It is for this reason that we keep postponing achievement of our great desires due to the lack of power and energy to work towards what we want in life. Today I will introduce you to the seven steps of power; from dream to physical manifestation. Here you will get to understand all the progressive steps you need to make that dream come true.
- Know your dream
We claim that we want to be successful. Success is not a destination. It is a journey that can only be well defined by setting specific dreams. Having that dream in your mind is the first powerful step. You know your dream, you know the reason you want to achieve it, and this will make you want to work towards success.
- Understanding self
Who am I? Do you know yourself? If you want to find fulfillment in your life, you must know who you are. Think of the four aspects of self; physical aspect, mental aspect, emotional aspect and spiritual aspect.
The physical aspect tells us on the capability of our physical body. We should know what we are capable of doing with our body. For example, it will be unwise for a physically challenged person to have a dream of being a soldier. Once you know your body is capable of taking you to your goal, take the initiative and acquire the necessary skills. It is only through skill acquisition that we can survive, thrive and even achieve our dreams.
On the mental aspect, we need to develop of our brains, to think about our dreams. This is where we change our daily thoughts and attitude to those of an achiever. Then we turn our emotions so as to involve our dreams in our feelings level. Spirituality takes us to our inner senses. If we take our dreams at this level, we are able to create a deep foundation that we can believe in.
This is the point. Your dream should not be in your mouth. You need to develop the necessary skills to acquire it, and then change your mind and emotions while involving your soul until your whole self is ready to work toward attainment of what you want.
- Personal development plan
In my earlier point, all I wanted is you to sit down and think about yourself. There is power in self-knowledge. You need a complete agreement on all the four aspects of self. But what should you do next?
You can never achieve if you do not have a plan. A personal development plan is the key that will open the door that is blocking you from your dream. You know what your dream is; take a piece of paper and draft a smart plan. Your plan must be realistic and time bound.
- Personal responsibility
Here you have a good plan, and there is your dream. What should be next? The next step of power is becoming responsible enough to follow your plan. For example, if in your plan you indicated you must start workouts to lose excess weight, responsibility follows. Wake up and initiate the exercise as you planned before.
You will never achieve without paying a price. We pay this price by pushing ourselves even when we don’t feel like. Personal responsibility basically means that you must do what you planned even when you don’t feel like. Postponing is not an option to those who are responsible enough. Remember you will enjoy achieving your dreams if you work towards them.
- Have a life coach
Is this a step of power? One might doubt the need of a life coach in the process of making their dream a reality. But who is a life coach? This is a person who will keep reminding you what you must do to achieve your dreams. In fact, this is the person who can help you remain responsible.
Look for a right person, who will understand you without judging your action. Involve him in the process of identifying an achievable dream. Let him help you create a good plan that can be easily followed. Share with him the progress of your plan. He should also be monitoring you to make sure you are following what you planned.
When you share your dreams with other people, you are confirming that you are ready to work. It is, therefore, a point of power. You will have to seek the necessary energy to prove to your life coach that you are achieving your dream.
- The power of our minds
Our brain controls any single part of our body. This is the powerhouse of our dreams. The perfect development path of our dreams is by enriching our minds. Our mind will connect to our body, and we will be able to do our best until we achieve. For example, when you wake up, tell your mind something. “Today I will write ten business ideas.” There is great power in doing this. Your brain will be tuned to go an extra mile to fulfill this desire. So if you had a dream of setting up a business, do not be amazed if you find yourself writing some great business ideas.
It is from our brains that we are able to implement all that we want. Once we enrich our mind, we avoid getting stressed in doing what we want. Our brain is already prepared for the tasks ahead. Try this and you will see how easy things can be done when our brain is ready for them.
- Fear, the dream destroyer
All the other powerful points cannot be initiated if we have fear within us. “What if I start and fail?” Yes this is a good question, but when asked this way, “What will I do next if the results are not so good.”
Avoid thinking negatively; it won’t help. It will destroy your morale needed when working towards your dream. Create the power of belief within you. You know who you are, you have a plan, you are ready to be responsible, you have a life coach, why then should you fear? Here is the deal. Work towards that dream, believe in it and nothing will stop you from achieving it.
